According to the director of Real Estate for Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, a store will be opening in Carrollton sometime in March of 2014. They will be located in Tower Plaza off Bankhead Hwy. Most likely next to the former Save-A-Lot. Currently Ollie’s is hiring for store management positions on their website. Click here to access that. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is very similar to a Robinson’s Salvage here in Carrollton. Ollie’s is one of the largest retailers of closeouts and surplus merchandise in the mid Atlantic region. They are also expanding into Georgia next year. Stores are planned for Macon, Rome, and Carrollton. Currently they have over 153 stores blanketing North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and other states. Ollie’s will carry brand name goods and salvage items.
