Carrol County Schools recognized its September 2016 Apple Award Winner at the board meeting on September 15, 2016. Receiving the award for the Service Employee of the Month was maintenance employee, Bobbie Lee Farmer. As stated in his nomination form, Mr. Farmer always has a great attitude and a willingness to take care of any task. He is a hard worker and a great role model for students and staff alike. Mr. Farmer’s servant heart and dedication to the students of Carroll County is why he is deserving of this award. He has been greatly missed by his colleagues in the Maintenance Department and by the schools he serves during his current illness.
Mr. Farmer’s son and daughter in law, Chris and Peggy Brown, were present to accept the system Apple Award plaque, a T-shirt and a gift certificate from American Pie, a business partner for Carroll County Schools.
