For Immediate Release:
One of the City of Carrollton water mains under the bypass at Old Newnan Road is leaking and will be closed temporarily for repairs. There is no cause for alarm, as there are numerous water feeds to Oak Mountain working properly. The Oak Mountain area may experience some water outages and/or low water pressure. Crews are on site to make the necessary repairs.
The City will be turning off all irrigation systems during the water main repair. The City request that those customers on and around Oak Mountain conserve water during this time.
The City will keep you updated and appreciates your cooperation. We hope to have this repaired within 24 hours.
