Carroll County Schools Celebrates the Opening of Its New Performing Arts Center

Carroll County School System celebrated the opening of its new Performing Arts Center on Thursday, July 20. “Carroll County Students now have a premier venue to showcase their talents in fine arts,” said Superintendent, Scott Cowart.

“We are grateful for the support from our Board, local government, community partners and the citizens of Carroll County who worked together to make our dream of having a state-of-the-art facility a reality.”

The performing arts center is a 42,500 square foot venue and is the most acoustically calibrated facility in the western portion of Georgia. The auditorium seats 1100, and there are two additional large multi-use rooms to accommodate activities, such as art exhibits, music festivals, educational programs and meetings.
