Rezoning has been proposed for property along Lovvorn Road that will soon be used to construct a used car business. According to information from the City of Carrollton, the 1.26-acre lot is located near 131 Lovvorn Road.
The owner of the lot is requesting that it be rezoned from M-1 (Light Industrial) to C-2 (General Commercial) in order to maintain the existing uses of the property and incorporate used car sales.
The City held a public hearing regarding the rezoning on September 12, and will hold a second hearing on October 2.
