A new kind of thrift store is coming to Carrollton!
ReThread Thrift is a high-end thrift store with a higher purpose. You’ll find great deals, enjoy an uplifting shopping environment while helping to change and save lives internationally and locally.
The mission of ReThread Thrift is simple. One simple act of kindness has the power to thread love into someone’s life. Every time that act of kindness is repeated, you ReThread love into others. We are opening this store to ReThread God’s love into our community and world. Every time someone donates, shops, or volunteers at our store, they are participating in the act of ReThreading love. We will then take the proceeds of this store and use them for the mission of DriButts and sharing God’s love.
Dributts is a nonprofit we started that provides a unique, reusable diaper we created to give to families in developing countries whose babies are dying from fecal-related diseases because they have no way to control the spread of fecal matter in their homes. ReThread Thrift will support DriButts’ mission of giving families around the world the tools they need for long-term health. We believe this store will not only give us needed revenue to further our story, but also give us a unique opportunity to invest in our local community.
ReThread Thrift will have a children’s play area so parents can shop while their kids are safe and entertained. We will also have a small cafe area with coffee and WiFi. Fitting rooms are also provided.
We’d like to partner with local churches, organizations, and individuals to help facilitate donations of gently used clothing, household goods, home decor, electronics, and such. as well as connect with volunteers to help us in the store. Please consider donating and supporting our cause.
ReThread Thrift opens December 2, 2017. Hours will be Monday thru Saturday 10am-7pm. The shop is located in South Park Plaza, 1561 Hwy 27 South Carrollton, GA 30116.
