A local auto repair shop is giving back to the Carrollton community in a big way this holiday season. West Georgia Auto Transmission and Repair owner Daniel Weaver is offering a free car repair for a local family in need.
“We’ve been so fortunate to have a lot of people around here trust us with their vehicle repair, and we want to give back to a family in Carrollton to show our gratitude,” said Daniel. “We’re looking for a deserving family in need, and we are offering a free car repair as a way to say thank you to our community.”
Families can be nominated for the free repair, and a family will be selected through a drawing during a Facebook live broadcast on The Carrollton Menu.
“We’ve done something like this for the past few years, but we wanted to reach out to the community to find a deserving family that we can help this Christmas season,” said Daniel. “We want to help someone, and get them on the road so they can go visit family members and get to where they need to go.”
