Construction Plans for Proposed Popeyes Approved

Months ago we reported GA Game Shop closed and then just a few weeks ago, Robin’s Herb Shop closed. Earlier today our team noticed crews around the building taking down some siding. We emailed the City of Carrollton’s  Engineer, Tommy Holland to ask some questions. He tells us, “The plans for a proposed Popeyes have been reviewed and approved.” At this time we are unsure if the property has been purchased or leased, hopefully more information will become available about that. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has several locations all across metro Atlanta including a Douglasville location which opened in March of 2012. The Carrollton Menu can now put to rest this rumor, as it is true. Popeyes will locate to the Southwest Corner of Brock Street and Highway 27, formerly home to GA Game Shop and Robins Herb Shop.

We are so thankful to the City of Carrollton for their help and content contribution to The Carrollton Menu.
